Thomas L. Coan, 91, of Lees Summit, MO passed away October 24, 2022 in the comfort of his home. Visitation 9:00am until 10:00am funeral service with graveside service to follow Friday, November 4th at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., KCMO 64133.
Thomas was born April 28, 1931 in Detroit, MI. He married Luella in 1974.
His wife Luella, their son Larry Kroeger, and daughter-in-law Shirley Coan preceded Thomas in death. He is survived by; daughters, Kelly (Mike) Prorok from Missouri, Brenda Mallicoat, and Janet (John) Carwile also from Missouri; sons, Thomas (Kathy) Coan Jr., and James (Lorraine) Coan both from Minnesota, John Coan from Connecticut; Grandchildren, Chet Strope, Pam (Jeff) Campbell, Becci (Jack) Swillum, Debbie (Naz) Morga, Michelle Mallicoat, Nathan (Sarah) Coan, Britni (Kelly) Emberton, Krista (Todd) Bird, Josh (Jocelyn) Coan, Ricky Coan, Roger (Melinda) Coan, Rhiannon (Leslie) Stark, Justin (Joella) Danburg and twenty plus great-grandchildren.
