Thomas Pinkerton Sr., 90, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away May 7, 2014. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, at First Church of the Nazarene, 11811 State Line Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64114. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Mr. Pinkerton was born June 17, 1923 in Guyana, son of Thomas and Jane (Wood) Pinkerton. He had worked in the banking industry. He was preceded in death by his son Robert Pinkerton, two sisters and one brother. Mr. Pinkerton is survived by his wife of 61 years Beatrice (LeDoux) Pinkerton of the home; children Cheryl Manning, Thomas Pinkerton, and Sharon Cox; eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
