Family and friends may call from 5-7 PM Wednesday, December 2nd, to pay their respects to Tommy at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. To keep everyone safe during this pandemic the immediate family will not be present during the Wednesday evening visitation. A private Funeral Mass is scheduled at 11:30 AM Thursday, December 3rd at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church; burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to a college fund for Tommy's beloved six grandchildren.
Tommy was born March 15, 1954 in Kansas City. He grew up in Gladstone, raised his family in Kansas City and spent his last years with his loving wife in Smithville, MO. Tommy was a passionate Kansas City Royals Fan, loved spending time at his favorite place, Lake Viking, MO, and above all, being surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, T.J. and Teresa Sullivan; and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Sullivan.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Cathy Sullivan of the home; children, Joey (Ashley) Sullivan, Molly (Chad) Pickering, and Jacob (Jessica) Sullivan; six grandchildren, Avery, Oscar, Jack, Norah, Emersen, and Oliver; his siblings, Sheila (Ed) Gadd, Gary (RoseMary) Sullivan, Peggy Sullivan, Lenny Sullivan, and Ruthie (Joe) Haus; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous honorary children who thought of him as "dad".
