Tim grew up in the Independence / Raytown area with his Mom and Stepdad, Jack Alexander, to whom he always called Dad.
Tim was very Proud to be able to make his vision of working for himself come to life when he created Creekline Countertops. He was so excited when he designed his own company logo, he wanted to put it on everything. He was a hard-working patient man and thoroughly enjoyed being self-employed. He always liked talking with people, joking around with them and giving them a hard time.
On most days you could find Tim at the shop, if not making the countertops he was doing something productive, or simply drinking a beer (Busch of course!) and watching the Chiefs, Royals or ANY sport that he could watch on his TV. He really loved it out there.
Tim was preceded in death by his Father Dale Johnson, Mother Arlene Alexander, Stepdad Jack Alexander, Brother Jonnie Johnson and Sisters Vikki Nowling and Kyle Gwen Gross.
Tim was a Loving Husband to his wife of 30 years, Diana Johnson; Proud Dad to his sons William Johnson and Thomas Johnson; Amazing Brother to Nancy Gambrell; Dear Stepbrother to Douglas (Donna) Alexander; Uncle to many nieces and nephews and a Great Friend to all that knew him.
Please join the family for a Visitation to Celebrate Tim’s Life on Friday October 17, 2025 from 3 to 7pm at McGilley & Sheil Chapel, 11924 E 47th St, Kansas City MO 64133. In true Tim fashion, please come as you are or wear your favorite Chiefs gear.
In lieu of flowers the family would love for you to take a moment to write them a note about Tim. It could be a good memory, a funny moment, how you know him, how you met, what you used to do together, a joke or anything you would like to say or share with the family. Please also feel free to include a picture if you would like.
Tim will be greatly missed.
