Toka Lou Haynes

She was born on October 10, 1929 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Alfred and Winnie (Keaton) Waldron. She married Carl on August 3, 1952 and celebrated 60 years of marriage until his passing in 2012. Mrs. Haynes was a wife and mother of four children. She was a homemaker while the children were in school.

Later she took a job as a "Holiday Magic" Cosmetics door to door sales representative. In 1971 she began a career at Mobil Oil Credit Corp as an administrative accounting clerk and retired after 17 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl and son, Lance. She is survived by her children, Connie Chaney (Vance), Leanne Sparks and Gary Haynes, grandchildren, Toka II, Tommy, Justin, Samantha, Corrina, 10 great grandchildren and one sister.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. Funeral Services will start at 1:00pm followed by the burial at Mount Moriah Cemetery.
