Bandleader Tony DiPardo, “Mr. Music”, was a boisterous showman who for almost 45 years was the most visible Kansas City Chiefs booster in town. He concluded the celebration of his life on Thursday, January . 27. Tony was 98 years young. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel located at 2345 McGee, Kansas City, Missouri in the ballroom from 12:00-9:00 p.m. Private Funeral Service and Entombment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road. To tell what were even the biggest highlights of his wonderful life would require more than a full page because Tony lived his life to the fullest each and every day. He loved people. If you met Tony DiPardo, you were his friend. He was so special and he will be missed very much by so many. Tony DiPardo was charismatic and charming. He was kind, loving, and gentle. He was the 1st generation son born in the USA to proud Italian immigrants. He was a brother to four siblings. Tony was a Husband, a Dad, a Grandpa and a Papoo. He was Mr. Music, Mr. Enthusiasm, Mr. 'Thumbs Up', Mr. Energizer Bunny. He was a perfectionist, a masterful musician, and a very successful businessman. He loved his family and his family of friends. Tony loved to eat! He loved to smile, and he loved to wink, and he loved to give an 'Italian Hug'. He loved to pray and everday he gave Thanks to the Lord for his most richly blessed life. He was small in stature, yet he was bigger than life. Tony DiPardo loved the Kansas City Chiefs and the Hunt family. Without Lamar's vision in coming to Kansas City in 1963, where and what would we all be doing today? Being a #1 Chiefs fan and bandleader for more than 40 years, much of Tony's prized moments were on the field at Municipal Stadium and Arrowhead Stadium playing music and leading the Charge for the Kansas City Chiefs Football Team. Go Chiefs! Tony DiPardo is preceded in death by his father and mother, Vincent and Anna Marie DiPardo; brother, Al DiPardo; and sister Lee Rondoni; also a multitude of special friends and musicians that he knew along his life's journey. Tony leaves a lifetime of memories with 'his' Doddie, wife and greatest companion for over 68 years; #1 son, Anthony R. DiPardo (Susan); #2 son, James M. DiPardo; daughter Patti DiPardo Livergood; and #3 son, Robert Livergood; grandson, Anthony R. DiPardo, Jr. (Marcie); great-grandsons, Zachary and Gavin DiPardo; grandson, Michael A. DiPardo; sisters, Josephine Imperial and Mary Petrella; nephews, Robert Imperial, Jhn and Jimmy Petrella; cousins, Howard and Georgia Jones and Jim Hart.
