I had the privilege and honor of working with Trudy for 16 years.  I was her principal & superintendent but she was my mentor and confidant. No one taught me more about elementary education than she did.  She lead by example and taught because she loved the profession. She was a born teacher!

If you ever observed Trudy or were taught by her, you'll understand when I say she was a master teacher. She was a teacher's teacher. But above all every student in her classroom knew she loved them!

Trudy, I will never forget your friendship, support and kindness. You touched my life like few have. I'm glad you are no longer suffering but sad that you left us. May your family be comforted as we mourn your passing.



To the family of Trudy Hoffman - I am Doris Reile from Great Bend, KS.  Trudy and I go back a long way.  We were teachers in the KS-NE Conf for many years and I always admired her warmth, her friendship, her mentoring spirit, and her love for teaching.  Although many years ago, I have never forgotten her and the ladder that she climbed in the KC area.  Be comforted by her strength in the Lord and the hope of His soon coming.  

While I only knew Trudy for two years, every interaction with her were positive and high-energy. She loved teaching and being around the students. She has been a positive example and encourager in the lives of many, many people and brought God's love everywhere she went. May God be praised through her life.

Oh Trudy! I’ve never laughed so hard as I have with you! We made such a great Bollhoff/Hoffboll teaching team back in the day! Can’t wait for Teacher’s Convention  in Heaven🙏

So sorry to hear of Trudy’s passing. Very fond memories of her dragging the rug rats around at college view academy in the 80’s. Coming down to see dad who taught me history. Very fun person to be around and I was stunned to hear of her passing. Love to Brad and the family
