Vera T. Johnson, 88, passed peacefully in her sleep on February 24, 2012. She is survived by her son, Victor E. Johnson, a grandson, two granddaughters, a great granddaughter, two great grandsons, three sisters and two brothers. Vera was a naturally gifted equestrian. She taught a host of people the art of horseback riding. This was her greatest passion. Vera was also a professional dog groomer for over twenty years in the Kansas City area.
