

Vicki Lynn Joseph, 79, passed away on June 13, 2026, due to complications from diabetes and kidney failure. Born on August 23, 1946, in Kansas CIty, Missouri, she grew up in Raytown and was part of the first graduating class at Raytown South High School.
A talented dancer, she performed at Starlight Theatre and also taught at her mother’s studio. She retired from the Ford Claycomo Plant after 30 years of dedicated service. Creative at heart and skilled with her hands, she found comfort and satisfaction in sewing, crocheting, and embroidery, and especially cherished time spent in her dream log home.
She was also an exceptional cook, remembered for the warmth of her table and the traditions she made feel effortless hosting Thanksgiving with homemade rolls and making waffles for her grandchildren, simple acts that became lasting family memories.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Gladys Joseph, and her eldest brother, Jerry Joseph.
She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Neale and Mary Kimball (Richard); her grandchildren, Sydney Gearhart (Spencer), Micah Ferrell (Cody), Dalton Neale, Malachi Kimball, Luke Kimball, and Gunner Kimball; her great-grandchildren, Presley and Brooks Gearhart and Teddy Ferrell; and extended family including her two brothers DeLon (Jane) Joseph , Miles (Nancy) Joseph and sister- in law Jessie Joseph and seven nieces, two nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, on June 22, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with a Committal Service from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
