Victor J Jodts Jr.

Victor Julius Jodts October 27, 1940 – December 9, 2016 On December 9, 2016, Victor Jodts left his earthly home to stand and faithfully serve his Lord and savior Jesus Christ, whom he loved. Vic was born October 27, 1940 to Victor and Mary Jodts who preceded him death. He was raised in Independence, MO where he attended St Ann's grade school and Van Horn High School after which he joined the United States Navy and proudly served from 1958 to 1962. He then returned to Independence to raise his family, he worked as a sales manager at Plastic Enterprises for many years and retired from there. One of his greatest pleasures in life was to travel and spend time at his lake home to boat and fish with his faithful companion Haas by his side. He leaves behind his wife Carol of 57 years, two children Cheryl Horne (Larry) and Victor Jodts (Mary). Five Grand children Jennifer Wynn, Samuel Wynn, Kaleb Jodts, Jacob Jodts and Abbey Jodts. Four great grandchildren, Peyton, Cooper, Keegan and Henley. Two sisters Lena Thomas (Ron) and Nancy Whisler (Kenny) and many nieces and nephews. He was so proud of each and every one of his children and grandchildren, to watch them grow, and of the accomplishments they made in their lives. We all miss him so very much. Visitation at 1PM on Thur., Dec. 15, at Nativity of Mary, Mass at 2PM. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
