Miss Virginia is what I always called her. (She was so beautiful) I met her while I was in medical school. She worked at my school and over a few months we got very close. She would talk to me about her sons and her grandkids and how she wanted me to help her find a car (I did). Come winter months she always made sure I was okay and that I was warm. One day I was walking Into school and she had a gift bag. She said come here lady. I gave her a hug as I did everyday and she said you take these and use them. She said get going before your late. I get to the lecture on time. I open up the bag and she has taken time out of her day at some point to go buy me a white scarf and a white hat. They were so soft and so warm. I still have the hat. Can’t find the scarf. I’ve thought of her several times recently and kept trying to find her or her relatives so I could go have a chat with her. We always had things to talk about, and we were always so comfortable opening up to things that made us angry or sad. She was really a good friend to me I will miss her and Virginia I wish I would have dug more to find you, to have one last laugh. I’m on this website because I just lost my father and McGilleys will be doing our services. As they always have. I did not expect to find you here Virginia. I love you lady and I hope all your worries heartaches and pains are gone. Rest well beautiful angel.❤️🙏🏼

I met Miss Virginia Renfro while working at Mainstreet Credit Union.
She was a customer that was very friendly and talkative! I invited her to a Branson trip with my church and shortly  after she joined Calvary Chapel Church of God in Christ until her health failed! She will be truly missed. May God comfort and strengthen her family!

Rev. Renfro was an amazing, spirit filled woman of God! She was forever ready to praise and serve the Lord. When we talk she would share precious stories about her family. There is NO doubt as to how much she loved each of them. I especially remember her being so proud of her daughter Cita. During Cita's military days, Rev. Renfro was excited to inform as to her whereabouts and status. She was simply a beautiful woman. May her soul be at peace in the arms of Jesus.

To the family of Rev Renfro, may your thoughts and love be with you in this time of need. Knowing how much Ms Renfro loved you be an anchor in your heart forever. I met her a long time ago when I was very young, but I have plenty of memories of your mother and loved one. May God continue to strengthen all of you. There is no easy way to see a loved one leave this earthly world, but remember that God gave her to all of us, and she is resting well in His arms. Allow God to comfort you at this time, I will continually keep your family in my prayers.

My favorites of Aunt Virgie was taking me to my first Major League Baseball Game at the Kansas City Royals Stadium while she was working for Hallmark.

1. Introducing me to horseback riding and the Garrette Family among other members of  her saddle club.

2. Introducing me to spanish and  informing me that speaking more than one language would be a future asset for me in a career and in mainstream society.

3. Picking me up on Fridays to spend the weekend  with Rachel, Cita, Enrico and Virgil.

4. Teaching me how to cook Mexican Food.

5. Informing me that no matter what trials and tribulations that you have at home being and outside child you have the determination and potential to rise above any adversity that life throws at you. 

I thank The Most High that while Aunt Virgie was working security at  the cellphone store next to Lamars donuts on Main Street I was able to thank her for what difference she made in my life and to tell her that I appreciated her and loved her for treating me as one of her own children.
