Vivian Dorothy Baumgartner, 90, passed away August 11, 2016 at Care Haven Home, Overland Park, Kansas. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, at Leawood Presbyterian Church, 2715 W. 83rd Street, Leawood, Kansas 66206, with visitation and reception following service. Private burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. Baumgartner was born March 24, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri. Her life was devoted to the service of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Vivian was on the staff of several local churches counseling, teaching the word of God and mentoring countless people. She deeply loved her family and she was a faithful friend to many others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Baumgartner. Vivian is survived by her son Kurt Baumgartner, daughter Jan Morris, son Eric Baumgartner, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
