Vivian Claudine Kirwin

Vivian was born July 24, 1921, in KCMO, and went home Aug. 17, 2012. Vivian worked for the city of Kansas City at KCI Airport. She did years of volunteer work with the Salvation Army. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church for 53 years. Vivian leaves behind her four children: Bethel Richardson, E. Irene Schmitt, Phyllis Kohl, and John C. Kirwin and their families. Vivian will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, grand-, great-, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many friends which she adopted into her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, John L. Kirwin, her parents Claude E. and Addie Southard Hardin and Ruth Hardin, and her seven brothers and sisters. A Memorial Service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 5931 Swope Parkway, KCMO 64130, at 10 a.m. Sat., Aug. 25. Donations to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers.
