Wallace Eugene Daniels

Mr. Wallace Eugene Daniels, age 93, died on August 5, 2021 in Overland Park, KS. He leaves four children, B. Denise Bosch of Sterling AK., Connie L. Williams, of Belton MO., Michael J. Daniels, of Kansas City, MO, and Thomas R. Daniels of Kansas City, MO. Wallace was preceded in death by his wife of seventy years, Barbara Daniels, his son Wallace Daniels Jr, and his daughter Carol Daniels. Wallace has nine grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

Wallace Eugene Daniels was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Kansas City, MO, son of John and Agatha Daniels. He had a sister and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his sister Agatha and brother John. Wallace has a brother, Carl Daniels, of Overland Park, KS.

Wallace attended St. James Academy, De La Salle HS, and Rockhurst College. He stepped away from college to serve in the US Army and returned to Rockhurst to complete his degree afterwards. He married Barbara Ann Nigro on August 5, 1950. They became parents to six children.

Wallace was an accountant for many years. He loved to play golf, woodworking, gardening, fishing, and traveling with Barbara and friends. But most of all he LOVED his wife. He was a strong, confident, loving father. Wallace went to mass and said his rosary every day. He often said that his main goal in life was to get to Heaven.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 11 from 10-10:30 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at Church of the Nativity, 3800 W. 119th Street, Leawood, KS 66209. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
