Walter G. Carpenter, 86, of Liberty, Mo passed away July 18, 2013. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday July 22nd at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street. Visitation will be 3:00 - 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Shriners Hospital or American Diabetes Assn.
Walter was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Kathryn Carpenter, daughter and son in law, Mary and Gary Lockridge, sister, Alma Jean, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
