Warren Asa Kernaghan, age 97, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Warren was born June 13, 1924, in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Charles E. and Eva (Player) Kernaghan. He was an electronics engineer and trouble-shooter for the U.S. Air Force and FAA, and installer of instrument landing systems. His area was from Hawaii, Guam and Japan to Samoa. He was on the team investigating Pan Am Clipper 806, which crashed and burned on January 1974 in the jungle of Pago Pago, Samoa. His wife of 66 years, Betty L. (Bell) Kernaghan preceded him in death. May he rest in peace.
