Wendall departed this life in the comforts of his home on April 12, 2026. He was preceded in death by his dear mother.
Wendall was educated in Kansas City, MO public school system, where he graduated from Southeast High School. He was employed at Universal Engraving for 20 years from which he retired in 2023. He enjoyed an occasional game of golf, spending time with family while listening to great music. He was also no stranger to the dance floor.
He leaves to cherish his two sons: Thomas (Kimberly) Walker of Blue Springs, MO, and Kendall Brewer of Kansas City, KS. Three grandchildren, Emmanuel Campbell, Nathan (Kadeidra) Walker, and Amaya Walker. Four great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Many great friends that he met along his journey through life.
A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, US, on April 27, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a funeral at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, US, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A graveside service will take place at Brooking Cemetery, 10004 E 53rd St, Kansas City, MO 64133, US, on April 27, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
