Worrell and Margarine (Brown) Worrell. Both parents and a brother Walter preceded her in death. Wenona was the oldest of 3 siblings. Wenona was a lifelong resident of Kansas City MO. She was educated in Kansas City MO school district. She graduated from Central Senior High School, class of 1964. She also attended Avila College. She accepted Christ at an early age. Wenona attended Ward Chapel AME, True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, in 1982, She moved her church membership to her current church Haven of Rest Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher, an usher, worked in Missions, and was a member of the pastor’s aide. She loved people, never met a stranger, and she was always excited to share God’s word. Wenona was united in marriage to William E. Madden. This union lasted over 57 years. Wenona was a member of “The Heart of America Sisterhood Group #5”. She enjoyed fundraising to help college-bound students. Wenona retired in 2005 from the Social Security Administration with 37 years of government service.

Her In-Laws: Robert Madden [deceased] (Constance), Curtis Madden [deceased], Jeannette Madden (June), Alicia Williams, Michael Madden, John Madden, Pamela Morris (Lester), Krista Madden, and Vickie Douglas (Wiley). Her Grandchildren: Jerrid Dunlap (Samaiyah), Marika Coffee, RaShondaDunlap, BreAnn Dunlap, Jalen Dunlap, Kiana Moore, Kayla Moore, Chanille
Madden, Mia Patterson, Elijah Childs, Isaiah Childs, Marshay Madden, DJ Childs,
Dray Carrol, Danika Carrol, and Twaina Watson. Her Great Grandchildren: Jeremiah Rainey-Dunlap, Nylah Kalimullah-Story, Elijah Lewis, Marielle Lewis-Coffee, Camia Madden, Holland Paislee,
and Charlie Childs. And a host of relatives and friends.
