I remember going over to the Dearnley 's house in high school days. Mrs. Dearnley always offered ud a Totino's pizza or other refreshment. Very kind and hospitable to all us kids. She will be missed by many including Dave's friends.

“If Roses grow in heaven, Sue’s will win first place!
There are many things for which I remember Sue. I will never forget her spunk and sense of humor. I am going to miss her fun-loving spirit so much.
Fair well to Sue, may you and Walt have everlasting life together in heaven. You are a loving soul, that I will never forget . Shelley

Wilda “Sue” Dearnley passed away May 6th, 2019 and the world will not be the same without her.

Born on October 10th, 1927 Sue was a true pioneer as she breached the gender gap and worked most of her life at the FFA. Many women of her generation chose to be home makers, Sue wanted more so worked outside of the home. In doing so, she became an inspiration to friends and younger family members.

More importantly for Sue was her commitment not just to her immediate family, but also to her extended family. Many extended family members will never forget her smile, her humor and all of her kind gestures and support. No extended member will ever forget her quilts. An avid quilter, Sue created the most beautiful art with her skill and made sure to share them with those around her. There are many extended family members kept warm at night thanks to Sue. Beyond her quilts was Sue’s friendship. She was always there at the other end of the phone ready to listen whenever a family or extended family member needed an ear.

Yes, the world lost a caring and pioneering soul on May 6th. She will be terribly missed, but will always be remembered by family, extended family, and friends. Her quilts, her smile, and her friendship will carry on throughout the ages.

For the past three years it has been an honor and privilege to spend time and, when needed see to Sue,s
needs and wellbeing. A life long friend shehad taken a place in our family and hearts. Early in September
of last year it became obvious that she needed assistance with her health and financial issues.
On September 6th 2018 she appointed us as PAO for her health and finances. We were happy to see to
her needs and see that her bills, taxes, and care were seen to in timely manner.
Truly, we enjoyed our time with her and would like to thank the following for their loving care
and attention
The Pete Gardener Family
The administration and care givers at The Gardens on NW Barry Road
The friends from Park Hill Christian Church
Asscend Hospice
God Bless Sue Rest in Peace

Sue Dearnley, along with her wonderful husband Walter, raised a great guy and one of my truly best friends in life, David. My love for David is certainly a testament to the love and kindness Sue attempted to project each day of her life.

Sue was more than kind and giving to all of us, even during our years of testing the boundaries. During some particularly tough times for me personally, Sue was a source of great support for me and my late mother. I will never forget the sense of calm and security I felt with the Dearnleys.

Finally, I take no solace Sue now knows the complete truth about the mailbox incident, but in the fact there is no judgement to be passed. Rest in peace Sue Dearnley. God Bless you David.
