He was a veteran of the Korean War and spent 38 years employed at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, Missouri before retiring in 1988.
He is survived by his spouse Mina (Venn) Baker, of the home; children Storm Martin and his spouse Sandra Martin, Mina (Martin) Fleming and her spouse Ricky D. Fleming, and Thomas Martin; grandchildren Storm A. Martin, Sr. and his spouse Terry Martin, Wendy (Martin) Bingham and her spouse Todd Bingham, Sandy (Martin) Jones and her spouse Christopher Jones, Dusty Martin and his spouse Trish Martin, Robert Fleming, Tammy L. (Fleming) Reyes and her spouse Francisco Reyes, Jr., Elizabeth Fleming, Jack Martin and Victoria Martin; sixteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Anthony Martin.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
