I am deeply saddened, shocked and still processing Bill's passing. As the family knows, Bill and I were close in High School, College and many years after. We gradually drifted apart through time and geographic distance. I fondly remember Bill's love of KU Basketball and the Chiefs. We would often talk on Sunday evenings, usually bemoaning another Chiefs late-game collapse. I vividly recall his infectious laugh, good humor (his Reagan and George H.W. Bush impressions were hysterical), love of animals and friendship. He is forever young to me. May he rest in peace. My condolences to the entire family.

Sorry for the loss, I fondly remember the Grand National, and some good times during High School. I'm in Louisiana now, but will donate to the shelter. Great loss, condolences to Blake and whole family.

I remember Bill helping me with my comp class homework and teasing my grammatical errors. I’ll never forget Bill’s hilarious Regan impression and all his practical jokes he’d play. He was a great man and amazing friend!
Susan, Blake and family I’m deeply sorry for your loss. You always treated me like family and I’m thankful to have been a part of Bill’s life.
