William "Bill" Simmons

William Paul Simmons, 61, Kansas City, passed away August 23, 2015. Funeral service is Friday, August 28 at 10:00 AM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery, Marshall, MO. Visitation will be Thursday August 27 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, also at McGilley Antioch Chapel.

Bill was born March 2, 1954 to William and Wanda Simmons in Marshall, MO. After high school he worked as a diesel mechanic, eventually moving to Kansas City, where he has lived for the past 20 years.

Bill is preceded in death by two brothers, Micky and Ricky Simmons. He is survived by his father, William and mother, Wanda Simmons; children Sarah Roberts, Paul Simmons, Mindy Hulett, Billie Simmons and Amanda Simmons; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; step-sons Terry McClane and Frank McClane; brothers Nixon Simmons, Ken (Brenda) Simmons and Willie (Christy) Simmons.
