William Thomas Boyer

He married Diana in 1978, started a family and moved to Kansas City, MO in 1982. While this relationship did not last, they had 2 children together (Christopher Lee and Amanda Rose) and remained friends.

Bill went on to marry Debra Denise Waite on April 21, 1990 and added her son (Shane Michael) to the household as well. They went on to add one more child (Tyler Thomas) to the mix.

Bill was an avid classic rock fan, primarily of Bruce Springsteen, and took his family to many concerts over the years, but as he got older he was content jamming out to what he called his “kitchen concerts.” He leaves behind a massive vinyl collection that would be envied by any music lover.

If Bill wasn’t listening to music he was watching sports. He was a devout ESPN watcher, and would never miss a Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Eagles, or Kansas Chiefs game. He was elated to see the Eagles beat out the Chiefs in this year’s Superbowl.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents William and Rose Marie.

Bill is survived by his wife Denise; children, Christopher (Lindsey) Boyer, Amanda (Michael) Crawford, Shane (Mindy) Harmon, and Tyler (Brooklynn) Boyer; grandchildren Annie, Bella, Rowyn, Natalie, Elizabeth, Wesley, Liam, and Wyatt; great grandchild, Adelynn May; siblings Charles (Heather) Boyer; Debbie (Mark) Stuart, Cathy (Stacey) Montes, and Tom (Bobbi Jo) Boyer.

The family will be planning a private memorial on a future date.
