William (Bill) Brown, 87, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2026. Bill was born in Louisiana, MO and spent most of his life in Kansas City, MO, where he built a life centered on family, hard work, and helping others.
Bill was a beloved husband to Barbara (Jennings) Brown, a devoted father to Krista Sanderson (Scott) and Jeff Brown (Hailey), and a proud and cherished Grandpa to Lindsey Sanders (Damien), Cael Sanderson (Jodie), Jaydan Russell, and Beckham Brown.
Bill and Barbara were married on October 6, 1963 and enjoyed 59 wonderful years of marriage before Barbara’s passing in March of 2022.
A graduate of Paseo High School, Bill went on to study Business Administration at the Junior College of Kansas City. He then served four years on active duty and two years in the reserves with the United States Navy. Following his military service, Bill dedicated 47 years to a career in grocery store management, including more than 35 years with Milgram Food Stores.
Bill will be remembered for his exceptional work ethic, kind heart, quick wit, and a genuine love of customer service. Above all, he was a loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and trusted neighbor and friend whose kindness and humor left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
