Rowena, so sorry to hear about Bill.  I have the fondest memories of you and him in Jefferson City and KC as well. Rita joins me in sending our love and sympathy.

I am grateful for the life of Col. (Ret.) Conklin.  Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

Bill could make us laugh, and cry, with his wonderful stories and his observations of human nature.  Since learning of his passing, we have been flooded with memories of happy occasions shared with him and Rowena.  We are grateful for their love and friendship.
