William E. Coppock, 93, Kansas City North, passed away January 23, 2012 at Northcare Hospice House. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 27th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where friends may call from 1-2 PM. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House.
Bill was born February 13, 1918 in Omaha, NE. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during World War II and later retired from the U.S. Army Reserves. Bill was a retired mail carrier and member of North Cross United Methodist Church. He dedicated his life to caring and helping others. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Hazel, in 2008 and son, William, in 1993.
Survivors include his children Sandy, Cathy, Michael and Dan; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
