

William Joseph Donahue, 69, Parkville, MO, passed peacefully on August 29, 2013 at Northcare Hospice House. Memorial services will be 12:00 PM Friday, September 6th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where a visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. A committal service will follow at 2:30 PM Friday in Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
Bill was born April 13, 1944 in Salem, MA. He was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving as a dentist. Following retirement in 1990, he began a private dental practice in Parkville which he operated for 19 years. Bill was involved in many things, including being a pilot and working with Drum and Bugle Corp groups. He was also very active with the Boy Scouts of America. Bill was also a dedicated brewer and winemaker, winning awards from the KC Cellar Masters. He was a member of the Ararat Shrine.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Joyce; sons, Patrick, Timothy and Kevin; and 2 sisters, Patricia Brockway and Debra Donahue.
