Sadly on November 2, 2016 we lost William P. Dulaney to illness. Born on May 30, 1930 to Hester and Edward Woodruff, who later died, William was adopted by Luella P. Dulaney and her family. He was their joy and later ours.
He was a student at Ponca City Military Academy, Westminster College and Centre College. Preferring outdoor work, William managed a quarry but left to serve in the Korean War joining the Air Force. After his discharge he prospected for minerals and then went to work for Kirk Welding Company for over 30 years.
William was a kind, gentle, humble and loving man, who was open and giving to others. We grieve deeply and will miss him. He leaves his wife Elizabeth (Rader) Dulaney, extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. followed by burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army and/or City Union Mission.
Arrangements under the direction of Mt Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, Kansas City, MO.
