William (Bill) was born on November 20, 1932 in Kansas City, Kansas to Mildred A. and William K. Fenter, Sr. Bill graduated from Wyandotte High School. He served in the US Marine Corp from January 1951 thru January 1954, Honorably Discharged as a corporal, and receiving several service medals including the Korean Service Medal. Bill graduated from the University of Kansas in 1958 with a Bachelors in Business, majoring in accounting. He worked in the financial banking industry as a CPA. He was a member of Lenexa Baptist Church, and was a lifelong Christian.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lillie Mae Weil. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen; his four children, Connie Feaster, Janice Dailey, Linda Fenter, and Kenneth Fenter (wife Phyllis) along with three grandchildren, Kyle Feaster (wife Deer), Amy Gibson (husband Chris) and Alayna Fenter.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 10:00 am, followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Kansas City or American Heart Association.
