William (Bill) Gillen, age 79, died on May 18, 2021. Bill lived his whole life in the Kansas City area. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years, Janet; two sons, Michael (Pam) and Steven (Kami); four grandchildren (Trevor, Karis, Jessica, Nathan); in-laws Susan and Randy Jenkins and Jim and Kathie Clark; step-siblings Shirley Beasley, Fred Smith, Larry Smith. Several cousins, nieces and nephews. A member of Blue Springs Christian Church, Bill loved God, his family and friends. A private graveside service will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care.
