Bill,today marks a year since you had to go.Not a day goes by when I don't think about you.I think about our childhood (fun times) & our adult lives,our talks on the phone that would last from an hour or two.I know you are not in any pain now,I know where you are at.In my heart & mind I still miss & love you.One day we will be all together & have a party in Heaven.May you always R I P .Love & miss you Bubbie !!!

 My Uncle Bill was one of the funniest people, I ever knew, He was generous human being, who would
   help anyone, at any time, Rather you needed, a place to stay or your car fixed, he was right there,
I know, he was always there for me, and so many others.
He would always used humor to mask his pain, Or just have a good laugh about something
 or someone for the heck of it.
He was filled with stories, jokes and mostly advice, which he was happy to give.
He was more than just an Uncle to me, He was like my Big Brother. Keeping me out of Trouble,
and one rare occasion, saving my life. Probably the reason, i'm still here. 
In recent years, my Uncle had a lot of health issues, which wasn't an issue for him, he was still helping people, making jokes, even about himself.  He lived his life and died on his own terms. His life was not in vain, as he meant so much to so many, me included.
I will miss him, not just for what he did for me, but, Who he was to me and what he meant to our Family.
He isn't sick or suffering anymore, No one or Nothing can hurt him. He is Free and Happy, and is with those who went before him. 
My Life was rich and blessed that Bill was in it..And, my World will never be the same.

My deepest sympathy to the family.  I met Bill once and he was a very humorous person.  I know he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. May God bless all of you and bring you peace.

My Memories of my Uncle is clear as a Bell. I have so many wonderful memories of, my uncle. Too many to share. Life isnt going to be the same. Without his stories, his jokes, his oddness & his advice,One memory I will share is, On Thanksgiving day in 1969, 20 minutes before dinner time,and our house is on fire,  people were trying to look for me, I was in the room, where the fire started, too scared to scream and or to move, because the fire was close to me, my Uncle finds me there and pulls me out just in time. He was a Wonderful human being, who would help anyone, at anytime. I will miss him. You were awesome, Uncle Bill. I love you.

Growing up the Gowers were my extended family. I have so many great memories of Billy and his sense of humor. Life was never boring around him. All my love to the family. I know how close you were and how much he will be missed. Rest in peace my dear friend.
