Uncle Bill was my Dad's best friend for many years. I was so sadden to hear of your death, rest in peace and tell my Dad I love him... You will be missed.

Life is too short and I am getting excited to join the family in August for the family reunion. It is so sad that so many years have passed and we never knew each other. Family is important to me. Pops...you were a sun shiny day in the midst of any storm! I am blessed to have been a part of your life...no YOU a part of mine. Though many years have passed, I have never and will never forget you. You gave me encouragement and you showed me love...you will be well missed but never forgotten! I thank God for you. Too often we underestimate the power of touch, a smile, a kind word of wisdom, a listening ear, an honest opinion, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Uncle Bill or "Billy Frank" as many of us call him, was there for all who were fortunate enough to walk within his path at some time in our lives.  I remember when I was very small, when Daddy let me tag along to visit one of Uncle Bill's construction sites, those times when Momma and Daddy would take us to visit Uncle Bill's house and Aunt Cecelia would make enchiladas! Uncle Bill, you paid us a visit when my first born Brian came into this world. We never forget, we always remember. Love you much and see you soon. Please answer the door with my Corona when I ring the bell!

I am grateful for the life of Mr. Harrison.  Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

Your influence on my life has had lasting effects and I truly admire you for all your words of wisdom.  I will miss you deeply Uncle Bill and I know you are always in my heart.  Love, William C. Thomas III

Death is only an extension of life, that which we must all succumb to.
It is not an end but a beautiful beginning where our souls reunite with those we love who have already been summoned home by our loving Father.  Let us rejoice, for the soul of our loved one is free, and released from the oftentimes burdensome trials that we each face until our journey is complete.
