William "Bill" Johns passed away peacefully at his home in Roeland Park, KS on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was married 51 years to his wife, Eugenia Johns, who preceded him in death. Bill graduated from high school in Kansas City. He served in the United States Army in the Philippines during WWII and was in the Occupation of Japan. He was employed by GM Corp. for 36 years, where he retired. In his retirement, he spent his time enjoying his love of railroading, was an avid photographer and did volunteer work at Roeland Park Community Center. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
