William Bruce Shepard

He was born on July 24, 1942 in Kansas City, MO. the son of Ralph and Alveta “Blanche” (Livingston) Shepard. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1960. At the age of 24, he enlisted in the Army National Guard, Army Infantry and was stationed in Fort Carson Colorado; just prior to deployment to Vietnam, he was honorably discharged. He married Rita (Marks) Shepard, who survives, and to this union was born three sons: Chris Shepard of Kansas City, Kansas, Steve (Wife: Kristie) Shepard of Overland Park, Kansas and Mike (Wife: Julie) Shepard of Lenexa, Kansas. His career was based in Business Finance and he specialized in the Automotive and Motorcycle Industry. Most of his career he was a finance manager for many local car dealerships in the area. He finished his career at Worth Harley Davidson retiring in 2011. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with the Wolfpack Golfers of Olathe, Kansas. In his spare time, he like watching golfing tournaments on television and bowling.

William is survived by; wife Grace (Myers) of Kansas City, MO. three sons, seven grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by: Wife: Ginna Shepard and Brother: Lynn Shepard.
