He was 88 years old. He was born to Charles & Neita Mae Simmons from Osceola, Missouri.
Bob graduated from high school and enlisted in the Army where he served 4 years. When he returned, he moved to Kansas City working for a plumbing company. He decided to pursue the profession as a plumber and later became A Master Plumber and owned Metropolitan Plumbing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lee Simmons, brother Tom Simmons and sister Neita Jean Vochester.
Bob is survived by his daughter Kandace (Kandy) Simmons Terpstra (Wayne), his beloved twin grandsons, Spencer & Sean Terpstra, sister Joan Green (Don) and sister Lucille Cox.
A visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm followed by a 2:00pm graveside funeral service on Tuesday, May 22 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO.
