William Turner, 83, passed away January 23, 2017. Visitation will be 11:00am, Friday, January 27, 2017, at Floral Hills, followed by funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Burial at Floral Hills. Bill was born November 19, 1933, in Hamblen County, TN, to James and Flossie Turner. Bill was a long-time service station owner with his best friend, Jack Taylor. He later retired from the Raytown School District. He was preceded in death by his parents: and siblings: Marshall Turner, James Turner, Evelyn Fine, Robert Turner, Hazel Roach, Buelah Howerton, and Charles Turner. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Dorothy; children: Debra and Chuck Mann, and Joel Turner; sister, Brenda Fletcher; grandchildren: Christopher and Nadiya Mann, Blake and Katye Mann; great grandchildren: William River, Lyla, and Alana.
