

Willie Mae (Craig) Wilson, 96, of Raytown, Missouri, passed away February 3, 2013 at Westridge Gardens Nursing Home. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was born August 21, 1916 in Fayette, Tennessee, daughter of William and Georgia Ann (Williams) Craig. She was one of six children born to this union. Her upbringing also included her stepmother, Hattie Craig. She loved volunteering at her church, studying her Bible and singing. Mrs. Wilson enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles, word searches, and especially spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, sisters Beatrice Williams and Rosa Mae Brown, brothers William, Lahue and Lawrence Craig, and daughters Frances Sharp and Bobbie Morrison. Mrs. Wilson is survived by three sons Lennell Crockett Jr. (Sue) and Mose Crockett (Inez), all of Kansas City, Missouri, and William Crockett (Berdia) of Benton Harbor, Michigan; three daughters Lucille Crockett of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Jerlene Crockett of St. Joseph, MI and Geanethel Morrison of Kalamazoo, Michigan; 44 grandchildren, 156 great-grandchildren, 123 great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
