Wilma D (Cowan) Polk, Kansas City, MO was called home December 13, 2016 at NorthCare Hospice House. Wilma was born February 26, 1935 to Julis and Ruth Cowan in Eufala, OK where she grew up. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and two brothers.
Wilma is survived by daughters, Michaelle Polk (Mo), Kansas City, MO and Anita Hosier (David), Independence, MO; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; brothers, James Cowan, Claremore, OK, and Leroy Cowan, Carthage, TX; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Wilma retired from North Kansas City Hospital in 2004.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday, December 30th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 31st at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, burial will be in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
