Woodrow "Woody" H Webb

Woody served in the U.S. Army in WWII from 1943 to 1946. He was an Administrative Noncommissioned Officer, rank being technical Sargent. Woody was employed by JC Penny Co. for 38 years. He loved to cook, sew, and make quilts. He also loved travelling, gardening, and going out to eat. Woody married Mary Nichols on July 7th, 1949, having 3 daughters. They were married for 30 years. Woody was an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, and later Blue Ridge Presbyterian church.

Woodrow was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 1979, daughter Susan in 2022, and great-granddaughter Dorie (infant) in 2001.

He is survived by daughters Janet Jeffrey and Linda (Dan) Burgey, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two nephews, and one niece.

Services will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery in Kansas City on Thursday, March 19th, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9:00am with funeral at 10:00, a graveside service with military honors will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church, Phoenix Home Care and Hospice, or the Wounded Warriors Project.
