Yvette is preceded in death by her father Thomas Gavin, Sr.; and brothers Thomas, Jr. and Edward Gavin. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Gavin; children Robert Cavanaugh, Jr., Cara Sharp and her son, Chandler, and Christopher Rapp and his wife, Erin and her son, Brady Ruks.
