Obituary of Zayne Alexander Bennett
Zayne Alexander Bennett, of Independence, Missouri took his last earthly breath and went to the arms of Jesus on Sunday, July 31, 2022. He was 23 years old. Zayne was born to David and Karen Bennett on July 18,1999. He graduated from Truman High School and was a customer service representative for USAA insurance. Zayne loved his family fiercely and with all of his heart. He was always joking around and trying to get a laugh. Zayne was very competitive and enjoyed a good challenge. He raced BMX and won the 1st National competition that he competed in. Later, he progressed to motocross and traveled to many states while competing and brought home many trophies and ribbons. Zayne also had a very serious, somber side that only those that were closest to him got to see. He could seem guarded, but he was sensitive and caring and boldly protective of those he loved. He enjoyed having deep, hours long conversations about serious topics and even the not so serious ones. Zayne is finally pain free; physically, emotionally and mentally. Zayne is survived by his parents, David and Karen Bennett; his brother, Zachary Bennett and sister in law Brandi Bennett; his grandmother, Lorraine Schmidt; his grandmother, Debby Stout; his aunt, Susan and uncle, Rick Baylor and his uncle, Eric Stout. Zayne also leaves behind his nephew, Maverick Bennett and his nieces, Karleigh Bennett and Joslyn Forcum; as well as cousins Brock and Riley Baylor. He is also survived by many other family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, August 11, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO.
