Addie Ellen Freeman

Addie Freeman, age 75, died on Thursday, October 29, 2015, in Katy, Texas. Addie was born in Springfield, MO, on February 27, 1940, to Efton and Nancey (Nimmo) Tindle and lived most of her childhood in Missouri. As a child, Addie loved to be with her friends and ride bicycles and rollerskate. She married just before her 16th birthday. Addie loved for her sisters to come visit in the Summer and talk about the past. Addie's father was a farmer and her mother was a homemaker and worked on the farm. Addie had six sisters and four brothers; Addie was the seventh child and tended to be the quiet one.

Addie loved her family.........all of them. She was able to meet and snuggle her great-grandson, Nico, that was born a few days before she died. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; parents, sisters, brothers and a grandson, Aaron. Addie is survived by her children: Donna, Steve, Carl, Johnny and Terry; sisters, Glenda, Sue and Virginia; brother-in-law, George; and many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Boulevard, Katy, TX 77494, on the evening of Sunday, November 1, 2015, between the hours of 6-8PM. Funeral services will be Monday, November 2, 2015, at 1:00PM, in the Chapel of Katy Funeral Home. Chaplain Daniel Schramm will officiate. Interment will follow at Pattison Cemetery. Following the committal, the family will have a catered reception in the Event Room of Katy Funeral Home.
