Alan Bradley Hooper, 45, passed away on July 2, 2026, at his home in Katy, Texas. Born in San Antonio, Texas, in 1980, Alan graduated from Churchill High School before earning a degree in Psychology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where he was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha (Pike) fraternity. He spent his career in furniture manufacturing sales, managing territories across the southern United States before ultimately returning home to Texas.
Alan was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Hooper. He is survived by his wife, Casey Hooper; his beloved sons, Dylan and Zane Hooper; his mother, Gail Hooper; and his sister, Sharon Houghton (Kevin, Gunnar, Amelia).
Alan will be remembered for his infectious optimism, boundless enthusiasm, generous spirit, and larger-than-life personality. He never met a stranger and had an incredible gift for making friends wherever he went. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he especially loved football and soccer and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. He also loved playing games of every kind and was almost always the winner.
Above all, Alan adored his sons, Dylan and Zane, who were the greatest joy of his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to a fund established for the benefit of Dylan and Zane. Information on how to contribute is available at https://gofund.me/a2036ff49
Of course, your presence, prayers, and support are the greatest comfort and need to the family.
