Angel "Manny" Millan

Angel Manuel Millan III gained his wings on August 14, 2026, while cruising the seas, doing something he loved so much. His unexpected passing leaves behind a profound sense of loss, but also a lifetime of beautiful memories that will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Angel was born on August 25, 1976, in Queens, New York, to his loving parents, Dolores Arroyo and Angel Manuel Millan Jr. He grew up in Brooklyn, New York, surrounded by family, love, and the vibrant cultures that shaped the person he became. Angel was a proud New Yorker and an even prouder Puerto Rican, carrying his heritage with him wherever life took him.

Known affectionately to those closest to him as “Manny,” Angel excelled in everything he pursued—academics, sports, work, and relationships. He took great pride in everything he did and was always considerate of the people and circumstances around him. He was known for his kindness, generosity, compassion, and genuine love. Whether he had known you for a lifetime or had just met you, Angel had a way of making you feel like you mattered.

Angel had an especially tender place in his heart for children. He never forgot anyone and treated every child he encountered as though they were his own. His playful spirit, generosity, and willingness to show up for others made him a special presence in the lives of so many.

Angel embraced life to the fullest. His smile, laughter, and genuine spirit brought happiness wherever he went, and he truly never met a stranger. He spent his days playing softball, making memories with the people he loved, and simply enjoying every moment life had to offer.

Above all, Angel was a devoted uncle to his beloved nieces and nephews: Joshua, Jessenia, Jianna, Jaden, Shailyn, Davian, Mia, Michaela, Michael, Amber, and Brandon. He lovingly helped his partner, Amber, raise her two sons, AJ and Benjamin, caring for them with patience, love, and the playful spirit that made him such a special presence in their lives. Angel was truly a big kid at heart, and that joyful nature touched countless people.

His life will continue through his parents, Dolores Arroyo and Angel Manuel Millan Jr.; his siblings, Luis, Tania, Angelica, and Michael and his wife Vanessa; his partner Amber and her two sons; his nieces and nephews; and the countless aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones whose lives he touched.

Angel made an impact on every single soul he encountered. He will be remembered for his boundless joy, childlike heart, generosity, laughter, and unwavering kindness. He gave so much of himself to others, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue long after his passing.

Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we find comfort knowing that Angel lived fully, loved deeply, and made a lasting difference in the lives of so many. His memory will forever live in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

He will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and lovingly remembered—always.

Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Funeraria de Angel West Houston, located at 4656 N. Fry Road, Katy, Texas 77449, on August 26, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather together to honor, celebrate, and remember Angel.

Funeral Service

Funeral services will be held on August 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Funeraria de Angel West Houston.

Burial Service

Burial services will follow on August 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 14711 Cypress North Houston Road, Cypress, Texas 77429.
