

Bridgett Ann Edwards, 50, was born December 19, 1973 in Houma, Louisiana to the late Earl Edwards, Sr. and Carolyn Edwards. She grew up attending St. Joseph Catholic Church and was baptized at an early age.
Bridgett was educated in St. Mary Parish schools and was a class of 1992 graduate of Patterson High School. She went on to Cosmetology School and graduated from the Louisiana Academy of Beauty in 1997. Bridgett had over 25 years of experience as a stylist and Bridgett’s Beauty Bar was in Sola Salons in Katy, TX
Bridgett loved her family and traveling with them to new places. Her hands were anointed. In addition to styling, Bridgett also loved doing craftwork, painting, and DIY projects around the house. She could Zydeco with the best of them. She loved music and dancing. Bridgett loved bringing her family together for Sunday dinners and spending time on the back deck frying fish and boiling crawfish. She was caring and giving, always willing to help anyone in need. She was truly one of a kind and would light up a room with her beautiful smile.
Bridgett married her best friend since childhood, Joseph Carrier, on April 23, 2013 after loving each other for years. Bridget was a devoted wife and loving mother to her four sons, Keilo, Cordarrel, James, and Tyren Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Edwards, Sr.
She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories: her mother, Carolyn Edwards; her devoted husband of almost 11 years, Joseph Carrier; four sons, Keilo G. Edwards (Ty’Esha), Cordarrel White, James Grady, Jr., and Tyren Edwards; four grandchildren, Khalief Edwards, Anijah Moore, Kason Dunn and Mason Dunn; four brothers, Earl Edwards, Jr. (Wanda), Darren Edwards (Stephanie), Sherman Edwards and Jared Edwards; one sister, Alexis Jones; her godmother, Mary Tina Thomas and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
