Clayton Dee Givens was born on April 14, 1952 in Wichita Falls, TX to parents Marvin & Judy. He was raised in La Marque, TX with his siblings Julie, Laura, Ben, & Paula. He graduated from La Marque High School and went on to play college football at Lamar University. He met his bride and love of his life there, Loretta Sartin Givens. In August of this year they would have been married for 50 years.
Clay & Loretta raised 3 sons, Casey, Eric, and Justin. Clay was blessed 9 grandchildren: Taylor, Hayley, Payton, Presley, Emma, Dylan, Madison, Dane, and Major along with 2 great granddaughters Brynley and Evie.
Clay loved to Golf, Fish, and BBQ with his friends and family. He was a backyard sales expert for many years selling sport courts and swimming pools for the majority of his career.
Clay was a devoted family man who always brought joy and laughter to those around him. He loved deeply and will be missed beyond measure.
