David Lynn Gaddy

David Lynn Gaddy, passed away in Houston, Texas on January 26, 2022. Born on June 9, 1961 in Houston, TX to “Louis” Gaddy and Agnes Johanna Martinolich, who preceded him in death. Also preceding his death are two brothers, Michael and Bradford Gaddy.

Dave is survived by his wife Kathleen, his son, David, daughter, Stephanie, and granddaughter, Carter; his brothers, John Gaddy and wife Darlene; Robby Gaddy; and two sisters, Sallye Cielencki and husband, Scott, and Susan Seideman and husband West. Dave also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends.

Dave always strived for perfection in everything he did. Those who knew him well, knew his dedication to the details. After working many years in the logistics field, Dave realized that he could manage these activities in a more diligent and efficient manner, and created Logistic Partners in 2003.

Dave grew up in Houston, Tx but made his home in Katy, Tx. A loving father, brother and friend, Dave was always there if you ever needed anything. Known as “Pawpaw” to his granddaughter, Carter, who adored him and enjoyed their golf cart adventures, “Whataburger” dates, and living room campouts; to being known as “Crazy Davey” by his niece, Lauren, for all of the crazy jokes, antics and restaurant birthdays; his infectious laugh and will be greatly missed by all.

Where Dave was, there was always a laugh to be had; he strived to incorporate comedy into real life situations, lessen a difficult time, or just to have a big laugh!

Please join us for a Celebration of Dave’s life. A visitation will be held at the Katy Funeral Home, Monday, January 31, 2022, from 4:00-8:00pm. A Memorial Service will take place at the Katy Funeral Home, with Graveside Services immediately following at the Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
