I had the greatest pleasure of caring for Mr. Branan in his last days. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to get to know him and his lovely wife. It was amazing to witness the love Don and Janie have for each other, that kind of love is rare these days. Don and his wife will always have a special place in my heart.

Sending lots of hugs and prayers to you Janie, as well as Joe, James, Kimberly, and Ethan! We are so sorry to miss being there with family. May Saturday bring peace and comfort. May God’s presence give you strength as you face the changes in the days and months ahead. And may the wonderful and crazy memories - there were a lot of those - give you laughter! “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Father who is full of mercy, the God who gives all comfort.” 2 Corinthians 1:3.

I know that we lost a man that is one of a kind but his energy can not be created nor destroyed. Papa will always live in our thoughts, prays, and energy in everything we do in our lives. This was a tough lose for me when my dad called and told me the news that my papa passed away. I wasn't able to speak and could only think wow... he is gone. On my ride to my Nama's I thought that my papa is going to a better place and is starting a new chapter in his life and his energy will go where it is needed. His energy will always be in the Branan's and all the lives that he touched with his caring heart and witty remarks. No matter what he always was able to put a smile in our hearts and on our faces. You will be missed Papa's we love you so much and you will be missed!
