Don Foster died peacefully early Friday morning, October 22, 2021, at his home in Katy, Texas, at the age of 74. He was born in Dallas Texas to James & Helen Foster, and was the youngest of two children. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict. His great love was his wife of 48 years (who he knew and loved for 59 years) and his “family”, immediate, extended, and adopted alike. He was a man of few words, yet would visit for hours with those he loved and cared for. If he cared for you, you knew unconditional love, that “family takes care of family no matter what…and yes that means you too, dear friends” kind of love. He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen, and his parents. He is survived by his brother Lewis Foster; his son & daughter-in-law Philip & Deanna Foster; his daughter & son-in-law Kristal & Jon Browder; his grandchildren Josh Foster and Eli Browder; and many other dear relatives and friends. We will all miss him dearly.
Services to celebrate him will be held on Friday October 29 at 10:00 am at
Katy Funeral Home
23350 Kingsland Blvd
Katy, TX 77494.
