Eulogio Medina

Eulogio “Cruz” Medina was born on March 11, 1941 in Rayón, San Luis Potosí, México. As a child, he moved to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, México. At the age of 20, he met his future wife, whom he later married on June 15, 1968. In 1978, he and his family moved to Houston, Texas. He and his wife remained married for 56 years and shared three daughters and three grandchildren.

After working for more than 40 years as a welder and a foreman, he retired in 2003. During his retirement, he loved watching baseball, cooking, grilling, gardening, traveling, reading the Bible, attending church, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Elia Medina; his daughters Martha Laura Medina, Liliana Morales and Maricruz Medina-Marquis; his grandchildren Daniel, Isaac, and Jonathan; and his son-in-laws Clyde and John.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church Youth Ministry in his honor. Please keep the entire family in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days

A funeral service for Eulogio will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, KATY, TX 77494. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at External Service Location, 8902 US-77, Rockdale, TX 76567.
